Spring 2018 Registration Information

Important changes to registration

Due to league age changes by Little League Baseball® and continuing process improvements at HTLL, baseball and softball registration is no longer separated by division.  As a result, you should register your child simply for "Baseball" or "Softball". Based on age, grade and evaluations, your child will be placed in an appropriate division.

Cutoff dates for registration are different from previous years so please pay note the register-by dates.

Evaluations are required for some age groups. Please note those requirements.
 

Important changes to registration fees

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT – PAY 2017 fees if you register by December 31, 2017. Fees go up on Jan 1, 2018.

2017 REGISTRATION FEE:  $110 – 1st CHILD; $95 – 2ND CHILD; 3RD (or more) CHILD - $265 maximum per FAMILY*

2018 REGISTRATION FEE:  $130 – 1st CHILD; $115 – 2ND CHILD; 3RD (or more) CHILD - $325 maximum per FAMILY*

If the registration fee creates a family hardship that would prevent an applicant from participating in our program, please contact the HTLL President in confidence about a waiver.

 

Registration closes on February 4th. Registration is not considered complete until payment is made. Payment is therefore due by February 4th to be registered (whether made on-line or via mail for checks).

Any incomplete registrations as of February 4th will be put on a waiting list and players are not guaranteed to be placed on a team. Players not registered and paid prior to the team drafts (for those divisions that draft) may not be placed on a team. Late fees will no longer be applied.

 

REFUND POLICY – fees will be refunded in full if the player withdraws on or before February 4th. Refunds after February 4th will be subject to a $25 administrative fee. The appropriate League VP must be notified in writing.


VOLUNTEER ASSESSMENT - Once again we are charging a Volunteer assessment of $50 for participants in Baseball Minors, Majors and Juniors.  This assessment (charged per family) will be refunded if a family member completes a volunteer shift at the snack bar at Blackbrook field. It will also be refunded if a family member is a volunteer on the HTLL Board or is selected as a manager or coach.
*Volunteer assessment does not count towards family maximum


PLAYERS NEW TO HTLL - All first-time players participating in HTLL must show proof of age by either attaching a copy of their birth certificate during the online registration process, mailing a copy to the appropriate baseball or softball player agent (see Contacts), or by presenting it at the in-person registration.


Evaluations
Evaluations are required for baseball players League Age 7 thru 11 (see Age Chart) and anyone League Age 12 who is new-to-HTLL. Evaluations are required for softball players born in 2005 – 2009 who are new to HTLL or advancing to Minors or Majors this spring.  Evaluations are held to help create fair and even teams in each division.  All players that come to evaluations should wear sneakers and bring their glove and a bat if they have one. Check the website for updates on time and location.
